The Entrance Hall is a covered and closed in space area of the main entrance and combines several functional units. It faces Hajduk Veljkova Street where the main entrance to the Fair grounds is situated.
The Hall connects directly the Master Hall and the Exhibition Hall 1 - the two largest and most attractive venues of Novi Sad Fair grounds. At the same time it provides a functional connection between the Congress Centre and the Business Centre. The main entrance comprises three entrance/exit passages (two revolving and one sliding-folding door).
On the ground floor, covering 2,500 square metres, visitors can get information on current events in the building complex. A bank with currency exchange facilities, Post Office counters and the Information booth are located in this area as well as a cafeteria, washrooms, checkroom, box offices and exhibition service counters.
Apart from the staircase, visitors can move from one floor to another by use of escalators and two panoramic and three indoor lifts.
A restaurant which can seat around 200 guests is located on the upper floors and it is connected to the Gallery and the Congress venues.
The first, second and third floors are used as office or business space. The Entrance Hall is physically and functionally connected to the Business Centre of the Novi Sad Fair.
In autumn of 2006, the Entrance Hall will be equipped with a modern ticketing system which will enable precision counting of the number of visitors. A new system of printing and sale of tickets will allow better control of entrances and exits. This system will use two or more means to control the flow of visitors, exhibitors, employees and others using the same entrance exit points at the Novi Sad Fair.
As announced, the Entrance Hall will be equipped with 30 entrance turnstiles, connected to the sophisticated system which is used by many international fair institutions.
